My Fab Phuket Trip....

I had a great holiday trip!!!!! Seriously, the last 6 days had been very enjoyable (and relaxing!) I wish everyday is the same day as those days...hehehehe.Rasa tak nak balik pun ada, tapi kalau aku tak balik nak cari duit macam mana, ye tak??
My flight was on Monday, and I spent the weekends going bonkers with Tina. We went for breakfast on both Saturday and Sunday morning, and even spent the saturday noon to speak to my "wellness" instructor..Karen, who was introduced by my dear friend Komala. We went sasau during the two-hour wellness session and laugh hillariously as she went through our body statistic and wellness goals. It's definitely good....
My darling fiance took me out for dinner of nachos and chicken wings at Hard Rock Cafe the night before I fly to Phuket...just to show how much he'll miss me....
*To others who didn't know...that's where we first met, and where we had our first date*
Sunday night after dinner...... took my time packing, sebab takut tertinggal (or terlebih....to be more exact) bawak barang. Sigh.I'm not so much of a list person, so I don't keep a list...because even if I do there's always a chance I might overpacked anyway....tapi the most important thing I keep on reminding myself was to NOT FORGET my sunblock and after-sun lotion...itu sangat crucial...mampos aku kalau balik dengan sunburn and all...tak kuasa la nak melalui stage kulit mengelupas macam ular sawa tukar kulit...
And harus la tak boleh lupa my crocs sandal, my Gucci stillettos (in which I ended up not wearing anyway, my shorts, my bathing suit (sebab aku sedar yang badan aku tak sesuai berbikini...let me save everybody the horror), my set of toiletteries (which includes my Sebastian shampoo and conditioner, Clinique facial wash, berus gigidan ubat gigi....as well as my toner and mosturiser), my Origin's "Peace of Mind" aromatherapy lotion (that helps me sleep at night and reduce my stress levels) and my Givenchy "I Love U" perfume....among others....
*sebenarnya banyak lagi i bawak....my luggage weight 11.2 kg's....boleh percaya tak???*
Day of Departure...
Malam tu tidur pun tak lena sebab excited tak ingat.Almaklum la, it has been stressed in office over the past week or so that such get-away is much craved for (by me, and my 3 other friends). Pukul 5 pagi I dah bangun that morning, to make sure that everything is in place and nothing was missed....
Left for the airport by 9am, and we (me, Komala, Wen Chu and Wei Liew) were all gathered at the LCCT's McDonald for breakfast by 10ish. The flight isn't due till 12.30pm, so we took our time to have breakfast and chill prior to departure.
That's me and Wen Chu (and in the next pic, Komala) goofing around with my new Ixus camera. I'm like the official photographer for the trip...hehehe...mind u we took almost 300 photos on our 4 day trip. Wish we could take more but there are circumstances where photo taking was not allowed (like duringa show, in watery areas, during snorkeling..etc).

And since I had succesfully finish my Sophie Kinsella new book, I brought this instead to fill in my spare time (and to act hot in the beach macam mat saleh sambil baca buku!). Got it during sale last year and never even had a peak at the first page. I tell u sebab dia lama sangat dok dalam beg, I only manage to read 12 chapters and the book is all weary by the time I tough down kat KL (sigh!!).But it has been a good read, and I plan to finish the rest over the weekend...hopefully.

*sebab tina kata buku ini best*

Dalam flight kami bersukaria tangkap gambar....sebab none of us knew that its a violation to (i-dont-know-some) aviation code to take photos in a flight. Tapi stewardess takde pulak marah....

That's my 11.2kg luggage....my beloved floral Guess bag bought on an FJ Benjamin sale 2 and a half years ago. That bag is easily identifiable from far because of its color and floral prints...and I'm a sucker for a wheely luggage. I was thinking of getting another one soon...tunggu la FJ benjamin sale lagi. Akan aku ambil cuti just to be the first one in line to get hold of another Guess luggage bag.

*Call me el-cheapo...tapi value for money so what the heck kan???*

We arrived at Phuket airport an hour later...tapi sebab we roam around the duty free after passing the customs we made our tourist guide wait for about an hour...hehehe.

The tourist guide (named "sampan") took us for the Phuket town trip straight away, and we visited a temple, the honey bee factory and a gem factory. The town itself has nothing much, and the architecture is of 1950's penang buildings...all worn out and not well maintained.

After the Phuket town trip he took us to the hotel to check in and later to Fantasea Island...located at Kamala Beach in which is somewhat 30 minutes away from the town.

It's a commercialised theme park with unlimited buffet spread and a theater show (of acrobatic and tradiotional mix, somewhat of a Thai version of te London Circus) ...... which was superb and must not be missed. In fact, they say if u miss the Fantasea show then you haven't been to Phuket yet...or so to speak.

That's the buffet hall. It can fit 5,000 people at a time. Gilo apo?Tempat bagi makan the hungry tourist...hehehehe.

And this is where the show is held...the Elephant Kingdom...

The light changes every few minutes.....and everytime it changes ianya sangat mengasyikkan, hehehe. This is where I fell in love with elephants.

They are such cute creatures...too bad they are not cuddly. When I first arrive I ingat nak naik gajah for fun....tapi macam kesian pulak. They have this look in they're eyes macam nak nangis aje bila kena naik...so I pass la. lagipun it'll cost another 540 Baht just to inflict him pain to carry my heavy arse. So tak pe la...maybe we can just be friends...

More pics in Fantasea Island...chantek kan???

By the time we 're back at the hotel dah well past midnight...sangat penat ok. Kaki pun berdenyut2. Tapi rasa sangat happy....

Second Day...the PhiPhi Island Tour...
Pagi2 aku dah pukul gong...hahahahaha!!!

Actually these was from the first day when we swing by Sukko spa to book our spa package for after our Phi Phi Island escape.
Tempat tu macam paradise ok...we all terus jatuh cinta as soon as we walk thru the big wooden door...*yeah...yang kat belakang kitorang tu...)

This is their main concourse level...all decorated with a Koi Pond. We booked a 3 hour full body spa for only 2,500 Baht, and I have to say that it is absolutely fabulous. The steam bath and jacuzzi were the same as usual...but the body scrub and floral bath was heavenly. The body massage practically lull me to sleep and to top it off, the facials were great. I felt so refreshed and on top of the world, all signs of stress vanised by the time we were all done.

The whole spa session was fun...though I had to shamelessly strip during the whole process but hey, it's damn worth it. Well, all the other foreigners do, so apa nak takut kan??

That's me on the end of the second day feeling like a million bucks!!!!!

The Phi Phi Island Tour...

Ini tour yang wajib pergi!!!We took a boat to PhiPhi Island which is 1 and half hours away from Phuket town and it was awesome....

That's our boat....no luxury yacht but good enough because we get to go to the upper deck and sunbath like nobody's business...

The sights were to die for, and we had a stop at Phi Phi Don for snorkeling where I manage to feed the fish!!!!Sangat best!!!Sorry, no pics of me feeding them...takkan la aku nak bawak camera tu turun dalam air, so that's that.

Hehehehe...Komala dah sampai berkabung sebab kepanasan....

This is in Phi Phie Island, where we had lunch and had an hour break to laze around the beach and all....
After the stop at the Island, we spent almost another 2 hours on the boat realxing and sunbathing. Nasib baik I bawak banyak sunscreen....so tak sunburn teruk. It was damn tiring, especially after an hour snorkeling at Phi Phi Don, but the spa session after was so refreshing, we spent the whole night chit chattering in the room....

The trip to Phang Nga Bay aka James Bond Island

We have to woke up by 7am the next day because the pick up came early to take us to another tour to James Bond Island. Semua rasa macam malas nak pergi, but since we paid for it, we might as well go otherwise it'll be a waste.

The tourist guide took us to the Monkey Cave first, to visit the golden reclining Buddha, one of the most famous in Phuket. Aku ni dah la fobia monyet kan (since back in my Terendak days...I have to say that the monyet kat Blok J dulu sangat ganas, sampai sekarang aku ni penakut kat monyet).

The temple was beautiful....and we took sometime goofing around the temple compound with our camera. We didn't go in the cave though...I'm not into climbing tirelessly just to see a statue...

That's the temple...made of gold....

We later push off for the jetty to Phang Nga Bay...where we took a boat across the wetlands to the bay.....

The wetlands was cool!!!!The wind was cooling and breezy, and they have greenies everywhere (obviously..kan lalu paya bakau). The show us mountains with shapes of elephants, puppy dog etc...and it was fun playing guessing games. But the best of all was when they took the boat through the stalagtite and stalagmite cave....

The cave was so beautiful...it is officially my favourite place!!!

More of the pics of the wetlands....

That's the overrated Phang Nga Bay...made famous by Roger Moore in one of the James Bond movies I never watched because when they release it I was still a baby (or maybe haven't even born yet!).

Tapi tempat ni boleh tahan cantiknya jugak. Apart from picture moments there is nothing much to be done here....so we took photos ala2 James Bond kat sini....

See...we made our own movie pics...hehehehehe....

And that's the hot babe in the water.....

After an hour at the bay we were taken to the Muslim Village (Koh Panyee) for lunch......

The food was good, though there was no tom yam kung. To come to think of it we only had tom yam kung later for dinner, and I bet there are better tom yam kung in KL...

We head back to hotel after lunch. It was another 40 minutes boat ride, and an hour or so transfer by van. We slept the whole way back.....

That night after dinner, we took the chance to walk around Bangla Road (the so-called entertainment spot and night life center) but there wasn't much....

The city was quite....and everyone was all laid back drinking their heart out.It was farking early when we reach there...so Komala and I got ourselves a pedi and mani for 300 Baht each before finally hitting the clubs....

But then again, there was not much anytway in the clubs. Ingat nak tengok tiger show tapi Wei Liew tak nak pergi, so we ended up in an a-go-go bar watching cabaret and pretty boy show till close to 1am.It was entertaining...hehehe....especially at the final part when they have spoof dick shooting sperms around...heheeheh! Thank god we sat quite far back...so the sperms (kinda) fail to reach us....

*Gambar ni harus ambil...sebab kat mana2 I pergi mesti pergi Starbucks...this is proof I've been to Starbucks Phuket....hehehe....and the guy at the other side was staring macam orang gila dalam hati bertanya kenapa la ada orang excited sangat tangkap gambar kat Starbucks*

We spent the next morning free and easy.

We had breakfast, and the pick up to hotel was around by 11am so that we'll make it to the airport for th 1.30pm flight.

We were all tired, but happy...all destressed and light headed....macam high je, even till now. Rasa macam tak nak balik pun ada...ahahahahah!!!kalau la boleh cuti lama2...sigh.....

I harus pergi lagi...kalau pergi next time sampai2 I nak terus ambil bot pergi pulau and lepak sana 2 or 3 nights. Mesti best!!!
