I have seen ads and teasers of Project Alpha from Nuffnang emails and blogs since a few weeks back but the it's only recently that I manage to sit down and watch it's 3 minute episodes which has been recently launched since 18 September 2009...
For all that's new to it, Project Alpha is the first online show that focusses on bloggers - recognising then vast potential in bloggers and recognising the fact that each blogger has a unique potential and influence that makes an impact in various aspect of lives.
It recognises the fact that what we write and express is not just a mere ranting but also an expression of thought and ideas. And that takes all of us to another level. Blogs are no longer a personal diary, its like a canvas to be filled with art and enjoyed by all as it's displayed in the world wide web.
The show is brought to us by Nuffnang and sponsored by Adidas Action 3 for men. Hosted by the ever beautiful Ms Jojo Struys - whom I love to watch. *smile*
The show captures the lives of "a high powered working Mum, two shopaholics and a full-time accountant by day who is a powerful entertainment blogger by night in Project Alpha. Not only that, we will also feature a daredevil character who is always seeking the next adrenalin rush, and a travel writer who practically lives out of her suitcase" - Nuffnang.com.
It would be interesting to see what the feature bloggers will have in store, because I bet a lot of peeps out there are wondering how do they make it in the first place and what kind of lives they are living in now. Despite the fact that we think we know a blogger because we read their blogs day in and day out, what is written would barely reach 30% of what's really happening over a blogger's life, and yet...we usually thought that's the whole deal.
I hope the show will open the public's eye and make them see that there is more in a blogger's life than what they write - they have a family, they have friends, a thriving career - but most of all, they have feelings. Behind a high power top blogger lies an average jane/joe that is just as much as any person walking in the street, and as a human being, should be respected and acknowledged as an equal human being.
*And in the process, make all those haters out there who can't stop leaving bad comments on purpose just to spread their spiteful grinch. Freedom of speech doesn't equate to allow you to be simply being rude and annoying.sigh.*
Back to Project Alpha...before I rant away....
So far they have aired 7 episodes and its currently featuring Ms FourfeetNine. The tips she gave at the end of each episode is quite useful, do check them out. You can go to the shows via this link.
Check out the show....maybe if there's something interesting to share there's more things to blog about!
