Things I will surely miss over this next few weeks....

As much as I look forward to going away, I have to admit I do wish that it'll be great if certain MPO and shows is showing when I am the upcoming MPO rocks and MPO Jazz concerts that's happening this weekend.....

I heard raving stories about Ella and Awie's rock concert at Istana Budaya - so I am a tad dissapointed when I found out that the same (at least Ella will be there and probably many more local rock legends) will be performing this Saturday with MPO - sheesh....rugi rugi rugi - and I won't be able to make it.

As if MPO is trying to rub salt on my wound - they are performing with Jazz diva's the next day....

My fav (again) - Adibah Noor. Throw in Dina and Atillia there and I am sold, but hey, by the 22nd I am expected to be on a hot air balloon across Cappadocia - so what think will triumph?

Double sigh.

I never seem to have any luck catching up with Faizal Tahir either....

....ho yes....this weekend, at Hard Rock Cafe.

Last I even got the chance, I traded it with a night of Yuna serenading the crowd in Istana Budaya. And I don't listen to Yuna as often as FT.....I listen to FT everytime I run at the gym.

Triple sigh?

Which brings to the last, and the very big miss....

Lawak Ke Der 3.

2 seasons of sold out tix.

The third season, I am trading it with a weekend in Bali (again!).

Lets just hope the 3rd season aint the last one, coz if it is then I will miss it just as much as I have missed PGL.

My Bestie Komala's Engagement Ceremony @ Kluang, Johor

It's been ages since we hear wedding bells ringing kan? Well, most of my friends are now happily married and with kids, so we are all pretty settled down. Apart from yours truly yang still waiting for her turn to kiss singledom goodbye, my bestie Komala seems to be a tad more fortunate than I am coz her big day is soon to arrive!

We have been talking about her engagement since a while back and the dates kept on moving because they have to talk to the stars and the moons on best available date for the big day. When the engagement was finanlly announced I have a few of my own reservations coz I went all selfish and book my holidays in advance and the dates almost clashed (ho yeah.....bad bad bestie!) but thank God I finally manage to make it all the way to Kluang, Johor. Driving!

*okayla, with Shasha of course. Kalau shasha takde tak tau la sampai sana ke tak!*

So last weekend was kinda cramp - with having to sit for 2 days of 9-hour classes and rushing a 3 hour drive to Kluang to make it for the engagement dinner. Considering the next day is Malaysia Day, we expected a rush hour traffic on the way back to KL on Monday so we (me & shasha) did a makan-makan excursion along the way - stopping by the railway (for Kluang coffee), Klebang (for coconut shake), my mom's house (for a break and food - then we watched the Titanic! Oh Leonardo DiCaprio was freaking young in that movie) and the Seremban R&R before finally arriving in KL 9 hours after leaving Kluang town.

Sigh. Long drive. And yeah....sangat sangat Malaysian.

The journey and the piccas was updated on my insta. As for the rest.....enjoy!

*the nasi daun pisang we had before we left for Kluang - we had high expectation on Raju's, the experience were a tad dissapointing though*

*Gerimis only along the way down south - blessed that its not puring!*

*Finally arrived at Kluang - doubted that we will make it in time but hey, we even had extra time to spare. Bagus sungguh!*

Engagement event pics!:

Just got to love besties who camwhores! *grin*

Next day pics!:

*Oh the cononut shake is so yummy*

Can't wait for the actual wedding to come.....another go-down-south roadtrip to plan.

Less than a week to a very very long break yáll!!!! Mode : sangat excited! I have started setting aside all the things I need for the trip including getting a pair or two new sweaters - because God help me if the nights end up to chilly akak frozen sebab bajet the weather to range between 16 to 25 degrees je - not at all chilly winter nights.

While going about OU today bump into Tang's luggage sale - gatal la tangan beli luggage bag besar baru for the trip. Ingat nak borrow from Shasha je, but then its only RM300 (after discount) and it can carry a full load of 50 kilos (which translate to spacious - all the sweaters will take up the space nanti - nanges! Ni belum winter lagi - damn I hate winter holidays!) so now that I have my own bag, heheheh, Shasha can keep hers.

*she is so going to kill me - she kept on reminding me not to spend so much - matik la kena ceramah esok all the way to Kluang*

Anyways, am back in class for the semester and will be heading to Kluang tomorrow for my bestie's engagement party! Woots! I hope I can make it on time, coz I can only leave after class and God know's it might take like forever for a class to finish.

Now back to talking about imports and exports.

Sealing the deal....10 days to Istanbul....

Syukur that my new agent, Aura Empire Holidays, do not disappoint. In a way I think we end up with a better itinerary compared to the previous agent, Mayflower. Despite the time crunch we gave them to come up with a viable tour replacement, they manage to persevere and match the initial budget quote with a few extras - not that the extra is free, but since we are now on a private arrangements, we can add in a small sum that allows us a bit of time saved, free and easy options and better ground arrangements.

Will be paying up today to finalise all the details (and finally see the actual tix! yeayyers!!!) and starting off now to the next 10 days, dream of little earthly pleasures Istanbul has to offer....

*pics courtesy of google, for now, hopefully when I am there I can share those of my own. Follow my insta for that I am an instabug myself I suppose getting a local sim so I can update on a daily basis is so unavoidable....kan??*

The dream balloon ride in Cappadocia. The ONLY reason I have been bugging to go. Not so into trojan horses and colloseums (though it'd be cool to actually be in a greek myth scene, being a greek geek and all), I have to say that despite my fear of heights, I am so gonna brave this.

I remember how scared I was the last time I took the Eye On Malaysia a couple of years back, especially when the ferris wheel stop mid-air and we can see the whole way down because of the glass floors. Sheesh. But if the gajah in the celcom ad can brave this, I can do it too.

Whisk away through sunrise on a hot air balloon....I know, dream honeymoon but then if I have waited it would might never happen, so here we go!

Next on the what-I-expected-of-my-Istanbul trip is crashing at the cave hotels. Selalu lepak hotel semua glass and boutiquey but when I saw the photos of the hotels I say must go.....why not? Not that you have cave hotels kat Malaysia pun kan??

I found this underground map in one of my google searches....this is like more intricate then the ChuChi tunnels in Ho Chi Minh and whoah if we can stand there and walk all 6 feet standing then god knows what kind of genius who manage to dig such huge tunnels that actually let people live like on land?

Which makes me wonder, how the hell do people breathe down there? Don't they get claustrophobic?

Of course, whats' a travel without shopping!!!!! I heard Istanbul has massive bazaar's that sells from everything to anything under the sun and I'm psych! Who on earth do not love bazaars?

We are lucky that we manage to fit in about two days of free and easy in Istanbul in our 9D7N trip - hopefully we won't get lost coz got knows how scary it is to be lost in a foreign land.

And of course....loking forward to soaking in the culture, the beauty of the place and the sun.

Can you believe it that it wont be cold when we're there? It'll be like 16 to 25 degrees je (macam Genting, max) and gosh being a sunny person I am (who mostly thrive in heat and beaches), I kinda secretly welcome this.

I know. Boohoo you. People wants snow. But snow is overrated. When it melts the whole place looks dirty and brown, me no likey.

Last but not the least, hoepfully I will make it to the Salt Lake in Pamukkale....

Found out that another blogger, Nik, will be in Istanbul too around the same time. Hopefully one of those days our path will cross, coz I have been reading her adventures for a while now and she seems like an awesome person to hang out with! And there's always room for more people to party when we travel aite?

The clock starts ticking now.

My FV Loot of the Day!

Let's give a loud scream for the arrival of the long awaited Kiss&Tell shoes and much anticipated Sofina2 from FashionValet....

Of course the purchase was done two days back and the parcel arrived yesterday evening but can you believe it that its stuck at mailroom to a point I kena go all 13 floors down to hunt for it before it reaches me?

But I'm in a good mood today, so lets forego that. For now.

I had a pink Kiss&Tell heels and I loved it so much I have been contemplating for a while to grab more. Menyesal sungguh tak beli masa dia on discount that one day a few months back. The shoes has been stocked and restocked so I figured since I am getting Sofina2 anyway, why not just grabbed the studded Kiss&Tell and the long drooled over 4 incher I have always wanted at one go??

Isn'y it just gorgeous? Tried it on and gosh it fits like its made for my feet - so not taking it off!

No wonder Vivy Yusoff was so crazy about it.

Kudos I am one happy bunny. Now I got the heels perfect for Kom's engagement on the 15th.

And for the reason for all this siesta....have a peek at my all blue Sofina2....

Love the material. Definitely a step up from the last Sofina (I have one in purple - loving it too) and wished I was fast enough to grab it in red too (of course, the pink was gorgeous but I have too many pinks, so am trying a different color to spice up the wardrobe) because this beauty ran out of stock within an hour the day it was released.

Damn all those meetings. Sheesh!

Till then , restock! Restock! Restock! Restock! *chant everyday till next restock day!*

Now. I have a new bag for tonight's gig at The Bee. Matched perfectly with the white and navy blue dress - kinda look semi girly with punk rock edge.  *smile*
